Includes more than two dozen black and white photos. Front jacket flap is clipped (though price remains), chipped along top and bottom edges with a 1-1/4" piece missing at tail of spine. Anthropologist and 1926 Guggenheim fellow Reichard was a prominent scholar of Navajo culture, who lived with the Red-Point family of New Mexico in order to learn their stories and traditions.
