Volume One focuses on Dogma, Symbolism and Ritual, while Volume Two examines concordances on supernatural ideas, ritualistic ideas, and rites, and contained the bulk of the figures. Books were issued with jackets and slipcase, but neither are present. Boards have light edgewear. Anthropologist and 1926 Guggenheim fellow Reichard was a prominent scholar of Navajo culture.
