A staple-bound comic book featuring the Keeler poems "The Pea-Griffs," "Ode to My Waders," "Duct Tape Psalm," "Ode to Rough Fish" and "Ducks," which were all previously published in his book American Falls (Confluence Press, 1987). A project of the Montana State University School of Art. Art direction by Anne Garner. Illustrations by MSU graphic illustration classmates Mike Spokas, Mike Clark, Lisa Beardsley, Kent C. Burnham, Mark A. Burns, Rachelle R. Emond, Marla Hancox, Ed Hystad, Lori Ober, Carol Patterson, Maureen K. Scheetz, Nancy Simkins, Scot Smith, Sharon Stachlowski, Ted Stuff, Ginny Thompson and Kelly Williams. Poems fully illustrated in comic book style with pages of faux advertising offering such things as "Chumomatic," which turns trash-fish (the title of Keeler's memoir) into trout, and a reusable, inflatable muse for "hours of inspiration." Light wear to spine and bumping to bottom corner, else fine. Of American Falls, Gary Snyder writes, "These elegant poems, witty and controlled, are about 'relationship' if you like--all under the metaphor of angling. Including some deep holes and hard tugs." First Edition.
